What A WONDEFUL Life....

Last night, I couldn't help but reflect on what a wonderful life I have. To start off, I have a relationship with our Lord and Savior. Although there are ups and downs with this relationship, it is the most important one that I have in my entire life right now. Unconditional love and grace overflows daily in my life.

I also have the best husband in the entire world! Halley challenges me daily to be a better daughter to our Lord, mother to my daughter, and wife. He selflessly gives of himself daily, and works two jobs to support our family so I can stay home.

What I really wanted to talk about was my wonderful and beautiful daughter Payton! Throughout the day yesterday, she just amazed me. I don't know what I would do without her! Unlimited kisses and conversations make my day so worth while. I love that when I go get her in the morning, she squeels with delight. She helps me unload the dishwasher, one piece of silverware at a time. Although it takes forever this way, I love that she wants to help out and I want to teach her that she is an important part in our family life. Another favorite part of my day is when she reads to me! I understand nothing, but learn so much! She teaches me patience as she turns the pages back and forth quickly. Sometimes we even have a "speed reading" time where she turns the pages and I try to read what they say...oh the fun! I also think that Payton and I have the BEST conversations ever!! She talks to me with so many expressions; she uses her hands just like her mom, says "No" so many times that it is so funny, and she really gets into it!

Last night, I couldn't help but stare at Halley as he smiled at his daughter. The look of pure joy was all over his face as he watched her walk everywhere, read her book, and even just watch our favorite family show, "Wheel of Fortune". Payton loves that their is non-stop clapping, and enjoys doing the same. Halley and I love the competition to beat eachother at solving the puzzle. In fact, this show really explains our relationship I think. A lot of the times, I will get one part of the puzzle and Halley the other. We work together to solve it, and I think this is also true of our relationship together.

I think I have rambled on enough! Ha! I just really wanted to share with you all the glorious and wonderful life that I have.
