No signs of a baby here...

This post is a few weeks late, but Payton is now potty trained! We started about two weeks after the new year, and she got the hang of it WAY too fast! I am SO proud of her, and I cannot believe how big she is getting (not in size though, ha!). Now that we aren't wearing diapers, all of her pants are a bit saggy, they tend to fall pretty low, but we make it work :)

Since its still winter (boo), we have been getting more creative (for me at least!) with our activities! I finally bought some water colors (it's about time, I know!) and we gave it a shot this week. I was expecting it to last a good half hour, but after about five minutes, Payton was ready for a new activity. She did a great job, and once I brought out one of her coloring books, she was way more into it. Take a little look :)

Showing me some of her artwork!

Another fun activity was a popsicle in the bath tub! My friend Meg has 4 kids, and she has posted about how she gives the 3 oldest popsicles in the tub (less mess of course!). We thought this would be a fun little way to reward her for doing such a good job on the potty, and she agreed!

She is so funny!
Well, my first born is getting old, and will be off to college before I know it! We are so proud of her, and love her to pieces!

  1. Congrats on the underwear! Such a huge step and then all of the sudden they seem so grow up! Painting never lasts long in our house either. Maybe when they get older?? And as always, I'm so jealous of her hair!! She's beautiful Colleen.
